The CNBC-TV18 Outstanding Business Leader of the Year

The Business Leader of the Year Award recognizes the CEO who is able to retain loyal customers, inspire and motivate staff, grow profitability and make his or her vision for the company a reality. Special attention will be given to qualities such as innovation, community service and the drive to ensure the company's success, as well as the leaders ability to effectively capitalise on global trends in ways that have helped develop their business.

The CNBC-TV18 Indian Businesswoman of the Year

A visionary, an entrepreneur, an inspirer, a motivator and more, this recipient is the woman who has redefined leadership and has made her mark not only in India Inc. but on the globe as well.

The First Generation Entrepreneur of the Year

The First Generation Entrepreneur of the Year is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated significant achievement in the creation and management of a new enterprise. The award recognizes the person who has made his or her own mark, without a legacy and built an empire for the future.

The Indian Global Achiever Award

The Indian Global Achiever is the individual who has not only proved his or her mettle in India but globally as well, driving India Inc. in the global arena.

Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is for the leader who has redefined Indian industry and its perception globally.

Social Enterprise of the Year

This award is given to the organisation that has made an impact on society with its social welfare initiatives and best management practices. The oraganisation also acts as a role model, encouraging other oraganisations to follow suit.

Most Outstanding Contribution to the Cause of Indian Business

The leader who has impacted Indian businesses the most, be it through his or her organisation's performance, leadership principles, innovations in the field or more, will be awarded this prestigious honour. This person could be a bureaucrat, politician or policy maker.

This honour is awarded to an organisation that has created a successful and enduring brand and has the potential of becoming an empire by challenging existing brands in the same league.

The India Business Leader of the Year

The India Business Leader of the Year Award is given to the CEO who approaches success holistically. The India Corporate Citizen of the Year

This entity is one who has utilised and mobilised the corporate sector and all other means available, for the good of the public. He or she is one who is looked up to by society and his or her peers.

The Talent Management Award goes to the CEO who has recognized the importance of talent in both word and deed.
